I / 01 · The Library The Instruments Cable sizing, voltage drop, maximum demand, earthing grids, motor starting, power factor, protection coordination — supported calculations with method references to AS/NZS, IEEE or IEC and typeset reports. Engineering review remains required.
I / 02 · The Practice The Paperwork The new practice management suite is planned. Project workspace and draft time entry come first; timers, approvals, expenses, billing and reporting follow in later stages.

II / 01 · Doctrine Deterministic, Always Supported calculations are computed from published standards data, never generated by AI. Engineering acceptance remains unassessed, and engineering review remains required.
II / 02 · Verification Checked Before Issue Where the check can run, the server re-runs the engine and refuses to issue a report if the stored results disagree. It is a consistency check, not engineering acceptance.
II / 03 · Boundary AI Away From the Numbers Optional AI drafting is deferred. If it is offered, AI may draft prose only; it never produces a figure. Engineering values come from the engines.
II / 04 · Charter Independent & Private Bootstrapped, not venture-funded — we answer to the work. And quiet with your data: no advertising, no tracking cookies, nothing sold. We measure how the site is used without storing anything on your device, and record sessions only with your permission.

III / 01 · The Engineer

Ampacities is designed and maintained by Bijan Adinehpoor, a practising electrical and renewable-energy engineer — BE (Hons), Australia's National Engineering Register — who has sat on the other side of the platform: sizing the cable that has to pass inspection, signing the report whose numbers will be tested.

III / 02 · The Studio

Ampacities is a product of Aphelion Engineering Pty Ltd, an independent Australian software studio in Perth building precision tools for the trades and the technical. Aphelion — the farthest, slowest point of an orbit — is a deliberate metaphor: this is the careful part of the work, and we would rather move slowly and be correct.

Questions, requests and — especially — corrections. If a figure looks wrong or a clause reads differently to you, corrections are read first.
